Summary of work:

For Color of Change’s three part series, I worked with an animator (Motion Mami) and developed a script (for parts 2 & 3) to highlight and educate people on the way underrepresented communities would be effected by reproductive rights & laws. The mini series was developed for and published to Instagram and YouTube.

This ruling allows states to criminalize pregnancy outcomes like stillbirth and miscarriage and take away the healthcare resources needed to address these issues.

[Part 2] Reproductive Justice: What Happens When Roe v Wade is Overturned?
Dissecting how Black, Brown, and low-income communities are hit the hardest for Roe v. Wade being overturned. Here we discuss how a pregnancy outcome can result in a prison sentence.

[Part 3] Reproductive Justice: What Does Reproductive Freedom Mean to You?
Women share their perspectives on pro-choice perspective, life in today’s society, and who is in charge of making decisions on women’s bodies.

[Part 1] Reproductive Justice: Reproductive Justice is a Black Issue
Reproductive justice is a BLACK issue. In fact, the term and framework was created by Black women to ensure that we maintain the autonomy to make decisions for our own bodies and families.
